CYCLIST KILLED
COLLISION WITH CAR. (By Telegraph—Press Association. I AUCKLAND, December 25. A cyclist who collided with a motorcar on the Great South Road just north of Papakura at 2 p.m. on Tuesday was killed almost instantly. The victim was Henry Douglas Fraser, aged 65, orchardist, of Papakura. Mr Fraser was riding along the Great South Road in the direction of Papakura when he collided with a motor-car driven by Mr Donald Clotworthy, farmer, also of Papakura. The bicycle and Mr Fraser were thrown from the road down a slight bank, while the car capsized alongside. The injured man died almost immediately. The driver of the car escaped uninjured.
