LIFE SAVING
ROYAL SOCIETY EXAMINATION SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES. TESTS IN MASTERTON THIS WEEK. A Royal Life-Savings Society examination was held at the Ladies’ C. and A. Baths, Masterton, on Monday. The examiner, Miss H. Brenkley, commented on the high standard of work, and the enthusiasm of the candidates. The following pupils were successful: — Bar to bronze: Betty Bruce, Sally Dean. Second-class Instructor: Betty Bruce. First-class Instructor: Eila Cross, Sally Dean. Intermediate: Mairie Stillburn, Eileen Olson, Patricia Card, Shirley Card, Kathleen Stevens. Betty Syron, Patricia Holmwood, Joan Cosgrove, Nola Stewart, Norma Evenden, Enid Law. Bronze: Mairie Stillburn, Eileen Olson, Patricia Card, Betty Syron, Ngaire Ackerman, Agnes Roys, Esme Dunbar.
