OPAKI

COOPER’S BARN DANCE SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was another large attendance at a dance held at Cooper's Barn. Opaki on Saturday night. The music was supplied by Mr J. Barnes’s Rhythm Boys, extras being played by Miss Jean Rollo and Messrs H. Hood and M. Hunt. The duties of M.C. were carried cut by Mr W. Cooper. Novelty dances were held, Monte Carlo waltz competitions being won by Miss Jean Cameron and Mr Pat O'Shea and by Miss Hooper and Mr Webley. Supper was served by a committee of helpers. The next dance will be held on December 28. The free bus will run as usual, from the Post Office.
