BREAK=UP CEREMONIES

MASTERTON PRIMARY SCHOOLS. The break-up ceremonies at Masterton primary schools will take place next week. The schools close for the Christmas vacation on Friday. Lansdowne’s end of year gathering will take place on Wednesday afternoon, when prizes and certificates will be presented to the winners and a programme given by the children. A special invatation is extended to parents to be present. On Wednesday night, at the Wairarapa College Assembly Hall, the West School pupils will present a programme comprised of class items. Central School will probably hold its break-up ceremony \on Friday afternoon next. On Wednesday night the pupils of Standard 6 will entertain parents and others at a social function in the school Assembly Hall.
