OBITUARY

MRS FRANCIS BYRNE. The death occurred at the Masterton Hospital yesterday of Mrs Francis Byrne, a well-known resident of Masterton for the past fifty years. The deceased, who had been in ill health for some time, was 65 years of The late Mrs Byrne is surved by one son. Mr A. O. Byrne, Rhodes Street, Carterton. Her husband and one son predeceased her some years ago. The funeral took place in Masterton this morning, following Requiem Mass, which was celebrated at St Patrick's Church at 9 o’clock, the Rev Father Dillon being the celebrant. The Rev Father N. Moore officiated at the graveside. The pall-bearers were Messrs D. B. Curry, F. Frost, J. Tobin, R Judd, F. Rvoska and L. Robinson.
