ST. JOHN’S LADIES’ GUILD CHILDREN'S DANCE. ("Times-Age” Special.) There was a large attendance at the annual children's plain and fancy dress dance held by the St. Johns’ Ladies’ Lriiild. A most enjoyable time was spent. Music for the juveniles was played by Mrs A. O. Ferrick and Miss Kent, while Mr G. H. Barker (pianoaccordeon) supplied music for the adults. Spanish boy; Patricia Campbell, nurse; Barrel’ Campbell, pirate: Allison Campbell, black and white pierrot; Grant McDonald, cowboy; Fay McDonald, Spanish dancer; Michael Mayman, cowboy; Judith Mayman, Quaker girl; Harvey Herbert, lone ranger; Evan Smith, Robin Hood; Josephine Ruskell, May Day; Marion Ruskill, night; June Sorensen, milkmaid; Donald Sorensen, cowboy; Margaret Wilks, housemaid; Molly Wilks, gypsy, lan Knowles. Red Indian; Margaret Knowles, Greek girl; Margaret Jensen, commander; Madge Meech, nurse; Sylvia Meech, beach girl; Ivan Scott, lone ranger; Myra Scott, gypsy; Jose Heath, floral frock; Janet Robbie, bluebell; Gillian Robbie, playtime. Other children present were: Pat Knowles, lan Berry, Graham Berry. Rosse Herbert, Graham Pimm, Shirley Sorensen, Merele Sorensen, Doreen Sorensen, Alvin Poole, Ray Poole, lan Bui nett, P. Donovan. The Rev. L. Owen stated that the profits of £6 13s would enable this parish to reach its quota of £9 lot the Maori Mission Fund.
