GLADSTONE SPORTS CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (“Times-Age'' Special.) At the annual meeting of the Gladstone Sports Club the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: —Patron, Mr W. Jackson; president. Mr J. K. Strang; vice-presidents, Messrs E. B. Booth and lan Macßae secretary, Mr A. D. McKay. SPECIAL MEETING. A special meeting of the Gladstone Sports Club was held on Monday when matters relative to the annual sports meeting were discussed. It was decided to hold the sports on January 11 and various committees were appointed in connection therewith. It was decided that the net proceeds of the sports be. donated to the Patriotic fund. The following general committee was elected: Messrs G. Laing. C. Matson. John Cooper, O. Williams, W. Pike, N. Swanson, D. Mills. K. Joblin. R. Nunn. A Wyeth, W. Tahana. W. Patrick, H. Henderson, G. Baird. F. Day. C. McKay, J. Henson, J. Walker. lan Macßae. R. Donwor-th and A. E. Booth. The following judges were appointed: Horses, Mr Laird Meredith; ponies, Mrs K. McLeod.
