MUSICAL RECITAL

MRS MILLER HOPE’S PUPILS. AN EXCELLENT PRESENTATION. There was a large attendance of parents and friends at the musical recital given in the Y.M.C.A. last night by the pupils of Mrs Miller Hope. Those present thoroughly enjoyed the programme presented and warmly applauded the .items. The children demonstrated very clearly that they had received very careful and skilful instruction, and it was evident that both the pupils and Mrs Miller Hope took a keen pride in their work. Mrs Miller Hope’s ability as a teacher, and her varied experience and commonsense methods were reflected in the high standard of the playing by the children.
