BUSH CRICKET RESULTS OF SATURDAY’S GAMES. (“Times-Age” Special.) On Saturday the weather conditions were perfect for cricket. The four teams in the Bush Association’s senior competition played their matches on the Recreation Ground. Pahiatua. The High School-Fire Brigade game resulted in a win for the former who made 43 in the first innings and lost 2 wickets for 23 in the second. Fire Brigade in their first strike made 11 runs and in the second innings 52. Ihe Pahiatua-Mangamairc game resulted in a win for Pahiatua by an innings and 46 runs. The winners compiled 122 in the first innings. Mangamaire’s first, strike realised 38 and the second 38.
Theft of Money. In the Pahiatua S.M. Court Frank Quilty, an employee of the Dalefield dairy factory. Carterton. faced a charge of theft of £lB. the property of a fellow employee. Quilty was arrested by Constable G. Hogg and pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
