He said it was hoped to end the session next week unless something totally unexpected cropped up tc prevent it. The Prime Minister said it was intended on Tuesday afternoon to take the Sea Carriage of Goods Bill, the Mokau Harbour Bill and the Agriculture! Emergency Regulations Confirmation Bill. A Finance Bill would probably be introduced that day. Two petitions would be discussed on Wednesday, when the debate on the Finance Bill would also be taken. On Thursday afternoon the Waitara Harbour Bill would be dealt with, and the secret session to enable members to hear and discuss the latest developments in connection with the country’s war effort would be held at night.
