GREYTOWN
HOME GUARD FIRST PARADE TONIGHT. ("Times-Age'' Special.) The Greytown Home Guard will hold its first parade tonight when members will be sworn in and posted to their respective units. Mr C. G. Bouzaid has placed the Crown Theatre at the disposal of the committee. Street Beautification. The corner of McMaster and East streets is a picture at the present time, being one mass of Sweet William blooms. The variety of colours and the large size of the flowers has attracted much attention. Mr G. S. Maloney has been responsible for this beauty spot in the town. Personal. Private T. Workman, accompanied by his mother, Mrs R. Workman, have left on a visit to Wanganui. Mr J. W. Herod, of Battersea, is at present in the Greytown Hospital. Mr R. Haigh. of the Post Office staff at Awakino, is on his annual leave, and is staying with his parents, Mr and Mrs E. J. Haigh, Main Street.
