GROUP SAVING

SCHEME UNDER WAY. OPERATIONS IN WAIRARAPA. Mr W. A. Leeming, Wellington subdistrict organiser for the Group Saving Scheme, in connection with the National Savings Scheme, visited Masterton on Thursday and addressed a meeting of the local organisers throughout the Wairarapa, explaining the procedure relative to the operation of the scheme, which, as a result, has been launched in the district. The organisers in each centre are; Masterton, Mr E. L. Nicholson; Carterton, Mr V. Matthews; Greytown, Mr Robb; Featherston, Mr Davis; Martin - borough, Mr T. Knutson; Eketahuna Mr N. P. Williams. The scheme in the Wairarapa will be administered by the local Post Offices. The ' organisers would appreciate the wholehearted coperation 'of employers in the matter.
