ARMISTICE DAY

USUAL OBSERVANCE IN MASTERTON. Discussing arrangements in connection with the observance of Armistice Day in Masterton the Mayer. Mr Thos. Jordan, stated to a “Times-Age” reporter today that it was intended to follow the usual procedure of observing two minute’s silence at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 11. Mr Jordan said that he wished to ask for the co-operation of all citizens, and in particular drivers of vehicular traffic, to enable a fitting observance to be carried out. Arrangements had. been made for the fire bell to be tolled at the commencement of the hour and for the two minutes after.
