MASTERTON STOCK SALE
TODAY'S EARLY PRICES. . As the Masterton stock sale was cancelled last week on account of the Carterton Show, there was an unusually large yarding of sheep at the sale today. Prices were down and although bidding was keen from a good bench of buyers bids were within restricted limits. A party from the Agricultural classes at the Wairarapa College, under Mr C. H. Bibby, took a keen interest in the proceedings. The Associated Auctioneers quote as follow: Pigs: Weaners, 18s 6d. 20s. 21s Gd, 235. 295, 30s. Sheep: Fats, wethers, 4-th. 22s 3d to 22s lOd; heavy, 24s 2d, 24s 3d. 24s 4d; hoggets, 25s 4d; ewes. 4 and 6-th., 16s Id; Corriedales, 13s 3d; shorn (light), 15s to 15s 4d,
