WAIRARAPA SHOW
A GOOD RESPONSE. The ladies of the Carterton district have responded particularly well with entries in the cooking, sewing and fancy-work section at the Wairarapa Show next week and the entries in both, sections are ahead of last year. All the space in the Agricultural Hall has been taken and interesting trade exhibits will be on view. With cooking, sewing, school exhibits, cheese and butter, a very impressive display will be on exhibition. The Carterton Municipal Silver Band will play a programme of music on People’s Day.
