HASTWELL

TENNIS CLUB SEASON OFFICIALLY OPENED. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Hastwell Tennis Club opened the season on Sunday in fine weather. Visitors were present from Kaiparoro and a most enjoyable time was spent. The season was officially declared opened by the patron, Mr H. E. Greathead. A knock-out tournament was won by Miss H. Madsen and Mr M. Ngatuere, the runners-up being Miss O. Halberg and Mr R. Dick. The president (Mr A. G. Thorby) presented the prizes to the winners, this bringing a most enjoyable gathering to a close.
