GOLF CLUB COMPETITION DECIDED. (“Times-Age” Special.) The approach and putting competition at the Gum Grove links during the weekend was won by Mrs A. White. Personal Items. Miss Brenda Bloxam left yesterday for Auckland, where she will spend a holiday with relatives. Leading-Aircraftsman R. Sadler, Woodbourne Aerodrome, Blenheim, is home on leave.
Mrs A. P. Clapshaw is spending a holiday in Wellington.
Lady Galway Guild. The local committee has forwarded two boxes of clothing to the headquarters of the Lady Galway Patriotic Guild. Included are garments from the Pirinoa Women’s Institute.
