KURIPUNI SUNDAY SCHOOL. JUBILEE CONCERT. The sixtieth jubilee concert of the Kuripuni Sunday School was held ii* Masterton last night. The jubilee choir of 80 voices, under the leadership of Mr W. Davies, delighted the large attendance of parents and friends. ' The Rev. H. S. Kings, in opening the proceedings, invited Mr Boagey, of Pahiatua (a conductor of the choir 40 years ago) to take the baton for “God Defend New Zealand," a task he performed with skill. Reference was made in the annual report to Miss Mary Benton's services to the Sunday School over a period of more than 30 years. Singing and recitations by the scholars were much appreciated and warmly applauded. The gathering was brought to a close after Mrs Kings had presented the certificates and prizes.
