PESRONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr H. Walden, J.P., who has been staying with his daughter, Mrs E. G. Thomas, at Island Bay, has returned to Greytown. Mrs W. C. Cooke, of Palmerston North, is on a visit to her mother, Mrs C. F. Duff. Main Street. Dr Mullholland, medical officer for the Education Department, is at .present examining the pupils of the Greytown School. Mr J. Julius, of the Woodside Railway staff, became suddenly ill on Tuesday, and was removed to Wellington for treatment. First Gale of Season. Greytown experienced its first gale of the season last night. Orchards suffered to some extent as the result of the wind.
