SOCIAL CLUB DANCE AN OUTSTANDING SUCCESS. (“Times-Age” Special.) A dance organised by the Kopuaranga Social Club and held in the Kopuaranga Hall last night proved an outstanding success. The hall was filled with residents of the surrounding districts, Masterton being well represented. The music was supplied by Mr J. West, and much appreciated extras were played by Mr E. Wehikore. The duties of M.C. were capably carried out by Mr Ben Fenemore. A Monte Carlo waltz competition was won by Mr P. Condon and Miss J. Harding (Masterton). The drawing of a competition, the prize being 241bs. of honey, took place, the winner being Mr D. Puna (Te Ore Ore). Supper was served by an energetic committee. The members of the committee were congratulated on the success of their efforts which had provided one of the most enjoyable gatherings ever held in the district.
