GOLF COMPETITIONS (“Times-Age” Special.) In the semi-final of the “Akitio Mugs” fourball competition A. M Theed and S. W. Eunson defeated F. H. Mayman and R. C. Haherley 3 and I. In the final of the Ladies’ Handicap Cup Mrs R. D. McGregor defeated Mrs R. C. Scott 3 and 2. " The last medal competition of the season was won by B. King, who also won the season’s aggregate. In the Eclectic Competition,, held throughout the season, the following players with scores of 72 are to play off to find the winner: B. King, F. H. Mayman, R. McGregor and A. M. Theed. The handicapper (A.- M. Theed) has posted the following reductions: F. H. Mayman 17 to be 16. B. King 13 to be 12, F. H. Mayman 16 to be 15. The course is- at present in splendid order and players are looking forward to the annual tournament which is to be held during the Labour Day weekend.
