FALL OF STONE AND COAL
MAN FATALLY INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN. September 11. The death took place in the Balclutha Hospital, this afternoon of Mr Thomas Randle Carson, married, aged 41, after injuries received in an accident at Kaitangata coal mine on Monday. Mr Carson was struck by a fall of stone and coal, receiving a fractured skull and other injuries. He failed to regain consciousness. A family of seven children is left.
