FORTY=FIVE AND OVER
A TRYING AGE. Forty-five—the trying age for women! An age when we’re apt to look in the mirror and say—“ What’s the use, I’m growing old now!” And yet there really is no reason, why we should settle down and be content to watch life flit by —no need for us to neglect our fashions, faces, or figures; the fashion folk have really started catering for fuller figures. Being a little over-weight isn't a crime-—but bulges are! And bulges can’t exist with good corsetry today. Corsets are designed for all figures and all occasions, no matter what your particular figure problem is. Broken lines are caused through muscles being allowed to slacken —that troublesome “tyre," spoiling your waist bulgy hips and shoulder blades, and hosts of other important small points. Of course this boning is nothing like that of pre-war days when “straightlaced” corsets were the dread of every young girl's life. But in this free and easy age. comfort and ease is the main thought in the mind of every corset expert. Give your tired muscles the necessary support and they gradually regain their natural tension. And that is why you find in modern foundations specially padded bones to support that tummy, and firm ones to lift the strain off a weakened back. This bone insertion has been studied by experts and wherever they think that you need a little extra support, you will find tucked in the lining a comfy helper—and best of all they are perfectly washable. The bones don’t bend or bulge an inch when washing in the normal way. Remember that no corset correctly fitted can ever be uncomfortable, and when you go to buy a new pair, be sure that you have them fitted by an expert.
