« CARD TOURNAMENT., LAST NIGHT’S PRIZE WINNERS. / The fortnightly card party under the auspices of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. was held in the spacious games room last night. There was a large attendance in both the bridge and 500 sections. Mesdames Griffin and Hancock won the 500 prizes, which had been made and presented by Mrs W. Hope. Mrs Wilmshurst and Mr W. Hope were top scorers in the bridge. A tasty homemade supper was provided and dispensed by the ladies. The sixth of the series and the final night for the points aggregate will be held in the hall on September 19.
