RAINFALL FOR AUGUST (“Times-Age" Special.) Mr F. Cotter, of Te Wharau, reports that 745 points of rain fell in the district, on 21 days, during August. The maximum fall was 157 points on August 19. The total fall recorded for the 8 months of this year is 3680 points, compared with 2732 points for the same period last year.
