SCHOOL ASSOCIATION SUCCESSFUL EUCHRE PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the Home and School Association’s euchre, party held on Monday night. The winners were Miss Card and Mrs Cross. Personal Items. Aircraftsman J. Barraclough, of Wigram, was a visitor to Featherston yesterday. Miss Alma Lowell is spending a holiday at Pukerua Bay. Vita! Statistics. In August four births, one marriage and one death were registered in Featherston. Rainfall Record.
In August there were 21 wet days the total rainfall being 5.17 inches, and the maximum 1.18 inches on August 23. In August 1939 there were 24 wet days the rainfall being 7.60 inches.
