CRICKET
WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION. NEW SECRETARY APPOINTED. At a meeting of the Wairarapa Cricket Association last night Mr Percy Smith was appointed secretary in place of Mr T. E. Handcock, resigned. Mr Sortain Smith occupied the chair. A number of matters relative to local cricket were dealt with.
It was decided to hold the annual meeting on September 26.
The committee will hold a meeting on September 19.
