SERVICE OF PRAYER

MEETING IN OPERA HOUSE. LARGE ATTENDANCE TODAY. The weekly prayer meeting was held this afternoon in the Opera House, there being an attendance of about 120 people. The Rev. D. McNeur presided and lhe Rev H. S. Kings and Archdeacon E. J. Rich took the readings. Major MahafTie and the Rev J. Davie gave the addresses and the Revs T. V. Pearson and Taepa led the prayers. Sunday next will be a day of national prayer by proclamation of his Majesty the King, and all citizens are requested to attend their own churches for united public prayer.
