K. CUP FINAL. CANTERBURY BEAT WELLINGTON (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 31. Retaining possession of the K. Cup. which it won from Eastern Southland at Blenheim last year, the Canterbury representatives outplayed Wellington in the final of the New Zealand women's centennial championship hockey tournament. The Floyd Shield for the runner-up is awarded to Wellington, a trophy which has not been al stake since 1930. The Holden Cup was once more for competition between the runners-up in each section. Auckland A and Auckland B fought out a drawn game. Results: Canterbury 3, Wellington 2; Auckland A 2 Auckland B 2.
