ARMED GUARD POSTED AT NIGHT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, August 30. Police inquiries into the cause of the fire which destroyed a large building in Waiouru camp on Wednesday are being continued. Detectives J. Murray. Wanganui, and Constables S. H. Cave and C. Stewart, Ohakune, arrived at the camp on Wednesday and have been joined by Detective H. A. Hay, Wanganui. A vey strict supervision is beiiXJ exercised in the camp, particularly ay night. when an armed guard is posted.
