FLOWER SHOWS

HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY'S PROGRAMME. Schedules for the Masterton Horticultural Society's shows have been published. These set cut particulars of the classes in the three shows to be held during the coming season, the Daffodil Show on Wednesday, September 18, the Spring Show on Wednesday, November 20, and the Autumn Show on Wednesday, March 5, 1941. In every case entries close at noon on the day preceding the show. The Daffodil Show on September 18 should this year be favoured with many excellent blooms, as the season has been most favourable. In addition to open and amateur classes for daffodils and cut flowers, there are sections for novices, decorative displays and children.
