LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY

PRESENTATION OF “DEAR OCTOPUS.”

At a meeting of the committee of the Little Theatre Society held on Wednesday evening. Mr E. K. Eastwood was appointed honorary secretary in place of Mr T. E. Handcock, who has left on military service. It was decided that the next major production. “Dear Octopus,” be produced at the Opera House on Saturday, September 21 and Monday. September 23. The charges for admission were fixed at 3s and 2s, with concessions to school parties, etc. All seats are to be reservable, and Messrs Steele and Bull are to be asked to take charge of the box plans. “Dear Octopus,” is at present in full rehearsal, and the producer. Miss Jean Douglas, reports very satisfactory progress. Mr C. C. Kyngdon is to be the stage-manager.
