The Canadian-United States Defence Board indicated that it hoped to complete tomorrow night specific recommendations for the strengthening of defences.

It is stated without confirmation that the board is considering the provision of additional battleships to patrol the Atlantic coast and the construction of a military highway across British Columbia to Alaska.
