MEDICAL BENEFITS
UNDER SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME CONFERENCE NEXT MONTH. B.M.A. AND GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The Minister of Health. Mr Armstrong, announced today that the executive of the British Medical Association will meet on September 4, and that a conference with Government representatives, regarding the extension of the Social Security scheme to cover medical practitioner benefits will follow.
“We will discuss our proposals with the medical representatives,” added the Minister, “and will also be prepared to consider any alternative suggestions they may make."
