TRANSFER TO BRITAIN
SENATOR’S STRONG SUPPORT.

During a Senate discussion of the proposal to transfer destroyers to Britain, Senator Stewart said he favoured sending fifty or a hundred destroyers to Britain and "all other aid short of war. I admire the courage of the English people,” he said. “I am - for them. More power to them'"
