OBITUARY
MR C. M. M. FALK. The death occurred this morning of Mr Colin Meredith McKay Falk, of Raglan Street. Lansdowne, at the age of 46 years. The late Mr Falk, who was born in Masterton. had resided here all his life. For many years he was a grocer by occupation but for the past seven years he had conducted a milk round in Masterton. He saw over three years' service in the last war, as a member of the New Zealand Medical Corps. After proceeding to Samoa with the advance party that took possession of these islands, he went to France, where he was severely wounded. He had been a member of the Wairarapa R.S.A. for 20 years and was also a member of the Masterton Odd Fellows Lodge. The late Mi- Falk is survived by a widow and family of four young children, also a daughter by his first marriage, besides his mother, two brothers and a sister, to whom the sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended in their bereavement. The funeral will take place on Monday, leaving St Patrick’s Church, following Mass, which will be held at 9 a.m., for the Masterton Cemetery.
