PLUNKET SOCIETY 4 BRIDGE PARTY YESTERDAY. (“Times-Agp” Special.) The fortnightly bridge party of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket rooms yesterday afternoon. Six tables were occupied, the winners being Mesdames Gregor 1, Maddison 2, and Flowers 3. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Tully and J. Parker. Personal Items. Mr, Mrs and Miss Betty Shedden are visiting Wellington. Mr Shedden is taking part in the teachers’ golf tourney. Misses Esme Nichols and Joyce Horton arrived home yesterday from Nelson College foi’ the. school vacation. The Rev. H. Bloomfield left yesterday on a visit to Foxton. Master Kelvin Thompson is home with his parents from Nelson College for the school holidays. Mr H. G. Carter is spending a few days at Titahi Bay.
Mrs S. Best, of Wanganui, is the guest, of Mrs F. Best, Main Street.
Mrs Cundy, of Dannevirke, is spending a holiday with Mrs Knell, West Street.
Miss Hill returned to Greytown yesterday after spending a few days at Masterton.
