AMERICAN OFFICER
FIRST TO LOSE LIFE IN R.A.F. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON. August 19. Pilot-Officer W. Riske, the first American serving as a R.A.F. officer to lose his life, has died from wounds received in a fight against bombers on August 16.
