DETAILS OF DAMAGE
BOMBS ON BRITISH VILLAGE. (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) LONDON, August 14. A raider on south-east England dropped eight high-explosive bombs on a village. One blew out the front of a baker’s shop, another fell on the British Legion Club, a third fell on the roof of a garage, a fourth burst a water main and the remainder fell on fields and gardens. There was no serious damage anywhere.
