GATHERING AT SCHOOL
PRESENTATIONS TO SOLDIERS.
(“Times-Age” Special.)
There was one of the largest attendances ever seen at a function in fhe Te Ore Ore School on Saturday night when settlers of the district assembled to meet Privates T. Morris. S. Oliver, R. Churchouse, C. Carroll and B. Remine. , , .. „ In making each man the presentation of a watch, Mr R. E. Gordon Lee (chairman of the Masterton County Council) wished them God Speed and a safe return. Excellent music for the dancing was supplied by Te Tan's Orchestra and supper was served by the ladies of the district.
