CRAFTY CRIMINAL
NEVI ZEALANDER SENTENCED IN N.S.W. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, August 8. A sentence of two years’ imprisonment was imposed on a New Zealander, Jendesy Arthur Garner, aged 29, panel-beater, for having obtained property by false pretences and being in the possession of property stolen in New Zealand. The latter included a National Bank of New Zealand draft valued at £75. Detective Clothier described Garner as a crafty criminal.
