AMERICAN JOURNALISTS
PARTY ABOUT TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND.
(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, August 7.
Representatives of eight United States news agencies, newspapers, and feature services are to leave for New Zealand by the clipper from San Francisco on August 10. From New Zealand they will proceed to Australia as the guests of the Commonwealth Government. After at least five days they will then travel via Darwin, the East Indies, and Singapore, to Hong Kong, and they will return to the United States by the China Clipper. The invitation to Australia was extended on the suggestion of Mr Casey, Australian Minister in U.S.A., when it was known that newspaper men would be the guests of Pan-American Airways on the occasion of the opening of the air route to New Zealand.
