PRELIMINARY MEETING OF TRIBUNAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A preliminary meeting of the Aliens Tribunal was held today, after the arrival of the chairman, Mr Justice Callan, from Auckland. The tribunal has the duty of inquiring into the bona tides of all enemy aliens and advising the Minister of Justice as to which of them should be interned and what conditions should be imposed. Siltings in various centres are expected to occupy some months.
