The Finnish authorities state that Soviet reports of terrorism are exaggerated. Three hundred “Friends of the Soviet” demonstrated in Helsinki on June 30, shouting: “Down with the Government!” Some arrests were made. A similar demonstration occurred yesterday, when a crowd threw stones, injuring three policemen. A small demonstration occurred in Tampere.

BAN ON MEETINGS. AGAINST INTERESTS OF STATE. (Received This Day, 10.23 a.m.) HELSINKI, August 2. President Kallio has signed a law prohibiting meetings against the interests of the State and the disturbing of public order.
