WEDDING

MORRISON—SMITH. A quiet wedding was solemnised at the home of Mrs P. O. Smith, Moanaroa, Akitio, on Thursday, when Mr John Morrison, of Blairlogie was married to Miss Philippa Smith. The service was conducted by Canon Stevenson, of Dannevirke. The bride wore a saxe blue frock and hat to match and was attended by her brother, Mr Bruce Smith. Mr Hugh Morrison acted as best man. The health of the bride ana bridegroom was proposed by Mr Frank Armstrong who said he has known three generations of both families. The bride's mother was dressed in a black frock with hat to match and Mrs Tomlinson, mother of the bridegroom, was attired in a cyclamen ensemble and wore a small hat.
