SOUTH FEATHERSTON
MINIATURE RIFLES COMPETITIONS TO BE HELD FORTNIGHTLY. (“Times-Age” Special.) Owing to the benzine restrictions and the poor attendance of members in consequence, the South Featherston Miniature Rifle Club has decided to hold its competitions fortnightly in future. The scores on Tuesday were as follow: — Men: A. Gain, 97, 98; L. Rasmussen, 98, 98; D. Fenwick, 99, 96; Reg. Fenwick, 97, 98; K. Fenwick, 96, 96; C. Fenwick, 97, 95; R. Jepsen, 96, 94; D. Cross, 95, 96; M. Fuge, 98, 94; J. Saba, 86. Ladies: Mrs Thurston, 98, 96; Mrs Fenwick, 95, 97; Mrs Willis, 93. 91; Mrs Burt, 91, 93; Miss J. Burt, 95. 96; Miss N. Tocker, 84, 93. Boys: A. Burt, 98, 98; A. Cross, 94, 97; R. Rasmussen, 94, 91; C. Rasmussen, 95, 85. The fortnightly cups were won by Mrs Thurston, D. Fenwick, and A. Burt. Personal. Mr and Mrs A. Gain, Ashby Road, have returned home after a holiday spent in Wellington.
