TABLE TENNIS
WINTER SPORTS CLUB. At a farewell social tendered by the Winter Sports Club recently to Mr E. G. Sherrock, who has been transferred to Invercargill, a combined doubles Yankee tournament was held, resulting in a win for Messrs N. Leadley and A. Holmstron. who beat Miss Quinn and I. Coleman in the final. At present the first eight positions of the club ladder are held by I. Coleman, P. Greenlees. J. Haywood. J. Nicholls, Mrs Nicholls. M. Winslade, M. G. Wing, and T. Ihaka.
