MASTERTON STOCK SALE
RECENT RATES MAINTAINED. There was an excellent yarding of sheep at the Masterton stock sale which is being held in fine weather today. Up to the time of going to press prices were on a par with ruling market rates, and a shade higher for anything particularly good. Competition was keen from a large bench of buyers. Quotations are: Sheep, fat b.f. lambs. 22s 3d; fat lambs, 255, 22s 3d; prime heavy fat wethers, 355; good 2-th's, 295; ewes, 22s 9d; prime b.f. hoggets, 245; ram hoggets. 20s 2d.
