TERRITORIAL TRAINING
QUESTION OF TRAVELLING ALLOWANCES (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. An assurance that the Government was considering the question of a daily travelling allowance for Territorials who were undergoing intensive training but were living at their homes was given by the Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, in reply to a question asked in the House of Representatives yesterday. The Minister said that the Territorials concerned would be advised within a few days of the decision reached.
