NATIONAL WAR BONDS
• (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 24. The National Savings Committee announces that the amount in subscriptions to the 2 A per cent national war bonds received during the week ended July 23 was £11,850,495, making a total since June 25 or £121,506,665. The amount received by the Treasury in loans free of interest during the week was £1.023,592, and the total of such loans now amounted to £ 12,874,583.
